I would like to propose a rule change for keepers and salaries:
Could we delay the salary escalation for one year?
In other words, can salaries stay the same for keepers the first year they are kept?
So, if a player drafted in Year 1 at $10:
Year 1: $10 Year 2: $10 Year 3: $13 Year 4: $18 Year 5: $23
etc.
I feel this would make the league more of a true keeper league, allowing everyone to keep players a little longer, and to keep an additional couple of players every year.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the idea. We feel (much like real life contracts ) that with the bump in salary per year it make for 1. owners have to make more draft day decisions based on keeper $ 2. off season decisions must be made because of $ 3. Trades happen more often with a per year escalation Maybe we could lower it to $2 to make it a true escalation? We'll post a poll :-)

For me, the current settings are a good balance between allowing an owner to build a true Dynasty team without making draft day irrelevant.

I prefer the initial rules. Salary escalation every year keeps the league much more interesting.
