Lets say a player like Matt Moore will go for $100 and two or more owners are willing to spend that amount, does it make the first owner to nominate Moore at $100 the winner? Basically making it a race to nominate him first?

We should have had a rule that any player can go in the major draft if you nominate him for at least 10.

So if you spend 100 on a minor leaguer, you have no minor league team? Don't we have a rule that we are forced to field a minor league team of 10?

God, I guess I am an imbecile, right Lamp. The rules for minor league draft do not seem intuitive compared to the major. I did go in just now and read the rules as well as a sectin on this subject. You are right, you can spend all $100 on one player. Lamp, don't be a jackalope, I know where you live and I am a large human being

Maybe we should randomize a Nomination order for the 1st round.

cbs can generate a random draft order. we can use this to go down the list to see if anyone was going to spend the $100 on a single player. if they were then they will have first choice as to who it is. then go to the next team and proceed through the 16 teams. after this first time through we will go back to the auction draft and players will be nominated and bid upon. if this is agreed upon then we will create the random order every year for the first round of the minor league draft. as it is most people will not use their $100 for any one player (exception panthers)

we dont like the idea of drafting anyone and starting them at $10 because this is a dynasty league and the benefits of having those minor league salaries and escalators his a huge thing

You would kill the minor draft with allowing anyone in the major draft regardless of what someone spent on a player george
