All,
Can someone explain the minor 1, 2, and 3 contracts and how that works? What happens if I want to use one of those guys on my major league roster? What does their salary go to in the first year?
Thanks
Josh

Minor 1 contracts go to players who have gone over their rookie stat limits in that season or if you place a player under those limits on the active roster to begin the season. Minor 2 and 3 are for subsequent seasons.
For example, Allen Webster is still under 50IP but since I know he will go over that threshold this coming season and will gain minor 1 status at that point, I might as well throw him on my bench and give him that status now, allowing me another spot to draft a minor leaguer.
If I were to leave him in my minor system and he surpassed 50IP during the season, the minors salary in parenthesis would be removed and I would have to promote him (I believe)

The constitution spells everything out pretty well. If your having trouble finding it, go to the league tab, then details.

Mostly they HAVE to be on your major roster unless they are minor 1 and still have a minors salary in parentheses.
