It states in rules "DL spots WILL NOT be filled during the draft." I don't know how to characterize VMart anything else but a DL spot. Am I missing something commish? Seems like we should not be bidding on him

You can draft him you just can't put hi in a DL spot. I didn't see anything in the rules saying injured players have to be on the DL.

Correct v mart is available for the draft. He will be a bench player

I don't think he has to be a bench player. He's eligible as a starter based on 20 starts at a position last year.

be careful though... could be an expensive hole in your roster... and who knows how he'll look the following year after 2+ leg surgeries.

Agreed, right now though I have him for $7. Next year he is $10. That is worth it on one leg. He will continue to hit and backn in that lineup in DET, wow.

U are correct Indians. He can be used as a starter if so desired I just usually like players in my lineup playing so I assumed bench.
